Richmond Valley Council recently completed a new swimming pool shade installation at the Woodburn Public Pool, improving comfort for families and spectators using the seating area.
Delivered by SPF Shades & Sails, the project focused on creating reliable sun protection in a busy public aquatic setting. The goal was to provide consistent coverage from the harsh NSW sun, helping parents and carers relax in a shaded seating area while children enjoy the water. A well-designed swimming pool shade not only improves comfort, it also supports safer outdoor recreation.
Built with long-term durability in mind, this swimming pool shade was designed to integrate seamlessly into the existing pool precinct. ProRig wire and fittings were used for the structure’s edge cables, delivering strength, clean lines and dependable performance for everyday public use.
